Genre : Fiction  About the book : This fable revolves around the lands of Corcusia and the Mountains of Templetron and the lives of two brothers. Andahar is dealing with inner unrest and turmoils that refuse to go away while his brother Ned-har tries his best to ease his pain and set him free.  The protagonist is authentic and real, their characters are well-curated by the author. It focuses on the journey to healing and finding himself after a traumatic event. Nobody ever tells you how to deal with extreme failure in life. You end up having no idea what to do, where to go, or who to talk to. The rules of work : Book Review

The author starts by easing us into his rules, things like volunteer carefully, get your work noticed, carve out a niche, under promise and overdeliver are all pretty obvious and pretty simple rules. You don’t want to volunteer for everything else you won’t have time to do your actual job, you want your work noticed, of course, it’s pretty soul draining if not. 📌The Rules of Work” breaks downs the dos and don’ts of the workplace in ten sections each containing ten rules. Templar’s writing style is very brief and straight forward. 🎯Templar realizes its cutthroat competition world out there and there’s no time to pitch around everyone’s feelings. His book is for the super ambitious types that truly want to excel in the workforce and reach their full potential. 🎯The author calls these people “Rules Players.” If you don’t want to elucidate to his rules, then he advises you to put down his book and carry on with how you perform at work currently. 💭 My verdict I personally love reading t...

Acceptance and Avoidance

"Happiness can be achieved through training the mind."-Dalai Lama Acceptance is allowing your thoughts and feelings to be as they are. It doesn't matter if they are painful or pleasant-stop fighting reality. Let your thoughts and emotions come and go naturally without neither forcing nor silencing them. Acceptance doesn't mean giving up. On the contrary, it's admitting your feelings and life events. When you accept all your experiences-both pleasant and painful-you are expanding your mind. The opposite of acceptance is avoidance. Painful experiences are like a wild river; we need to cross them if we want to get to the other side. Your thoughts are a lens that clouds your vision. Your thoughts are wild wolves that live inside you if you don't domesticate them, they will eat you alive. If negative feelings come up, notice them, and move on. Thank you for reading.
