Acceptance is allowing your thoughts and feelings to be as they are.
It doesn't matter if they are painful or pleasant-stop fighting reality. Let your thoughts and emotions come and go naturally without neither forcing nor silencing them.
Acceptance doesn't mean giving up. On the contrary, it's admitting your feelings and life events. When you accept all your experiences-both pleasant and painful-you are expanding your mind.
The opposite of acceptance is avoidance.
Painful experiences are like a wild river; we need to cross them if we want to get to the other side.
Your thoughts are a lens that clouds your vision.
Your thoughts are wild wolves that live inside you if you don't domesticate them, they will eat you alive. If negative feelings come up, notice them, and move on.
